Description
xAsako Yuzuki is a Japanese novelist whose fiction explores women's lives and social expectations.
Eriko has an impressive career and a carefully ordered life, but she is deeply lonely. She becomes absorbed in the blog of Shoko, a housewife whose messy home and ordinary meals seem refreshingly honest. After arranging to meet her, Eriko believes she has finally found the friendship she needs. Her attachment soon grows more demanding and difficult to escape. Through food, work and domestic life, the novel examines how the desire for closeness can turn into dangerous obsession.
