Description
xSebastien de Castell writes fantasy novels that combine adventure, humour and characters facing difficult moral choices.
After a desert duel, Kellen accidentally stains the Daroman flag with blood and is arrested for treason. A fellow prisoner offers a dangerous route to clemency: kill the queen. Meeting the eleven-year-old ruler changes his view of the situation, revealing someone far more intelligent and vulnerable than he expected. The fifth Spellslinger novel places Kellen and Reichis inside a new political crisis, where deciding whom to protect becomes as important as escaping the people who want them dead.
