Description
xDean Burnett is a neuroscientist and science writer who explains the workings of the brain with humour.
The human brain can do remarkable things, yet it also forgets names, overthinks small problems and responds awkwardly to everyday situations. Dean Burnett explains these imperfections through an accessible examination of memory, intelligence, anxiety and personality. Rather than treating every mistake as a personal failure, the book considers how the brain's workings influence ordinary experience. This tenth-anniversary edition includes a new introduction and afterword, bringing a humorous scientific perspective to the questions readers ask when their own minds seem unexpectedly unreliable.
Buy your copy from The English Bookshop in Kuwait or order online, and discover the science behind the brain's everyday quirks.
