Description
xAlex Howard writes fiction that brings an imaginative perspective to familiar places and everyday encounters.
The cat living in the University of Edinburgh's Main Library is unusually thoughtful, with strong opinions about books, people and the world beyond his favourite chair. His adventures lead him towards other cats, unexpected encounters and questions about what human behaviour means from an animal's perspective. Part whimsical story and part philosophical reflection, the novella follows his search for meaning through a world that often puzzles him. Its feline viewpoint gives familiar concerns a different angle, combining curiosity and humour with a cat's distinctive independence.
